New Key Barrel For Door + C. Locking

Hi my key barrel for my drivers door is broken. If I buy a new barrel for it what happens re: cental locking. Will I get a new key or can I still use old key for central locking?
Any idea how much this will cost?

You need to get the correct barrel lock for your key (otherwise you'll need a barrel lock from where your lock came from to unlock the door manually) from Renault but it doens't affect central locking.

New locks for your key arn't cheap. You could aways go get a breakers yard and get the locks, keys and barrel ingnition lock and swop them all not that difficult to do just have to swop the metal bits in your key fob over no center locking is affected. Won't be much £40 for the locks and keys etc.
