About to own my first 172, Been visiting this website for some time but taken the plunge in registering with forum so my first post, Planning to become a member of the club too.
Great website and a great source of knowledge, hints, tips and advice etc, Hello to all.
Been away from hot hatch scene for some time after having to part company with a mint Fiesta RS Turbo nearly 3 years ago after changing jobs and had company cars since.
Previously had a 205 1.6Gti and two Renault 5 GT Turbos.
Kinda lost interest with cars but recently told I had to give company car back and started buying car mags again and a mate at work had owned a black 172 mk2 for some time and I thought it looked great, one thing lead to another and really got bug for getting one so done my homework and along the way have discarded the following

Spent weeks looking for a 172, decided to not go for the cup and having been mucked about with 2nd hand scene and parallel imports have ordered a brand new 172 in silver due for arrival mid november.
BRING IT ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
