New Member- Non Sport Clio

Hello All,

Been looking at this forum for a while now but only just got around to signing up, so hello everyone. Im from Southampton, I have a non sport clio, only a 1.2L but i still love it. I dont really intend on spending out fortunes on my car as i would rather save up for a 182.

Anyone want to suggest any simple modifications? I was thinking of getting the rs grille for it although im uncertain on this and also wanted to lower it slightly but i would still like to be able to park on the driveway and get over speed bumps so nothing too serious....

But before i do any of that i want to get a few paint jobs done, especially where the paint has peeled on the bumper inlay.

It already has silvervisions at the front and colour coded side strips so there's two jobs done for you! I'd 100% go with an RS grille and lows, maybe spray your front diamond in a different colour, and possibly get some new 15" alloys or get your current ones powdercoated/sprayed (with a refurb if they need it).

Tidy looking car though apart from the back bumpstrip! Welcome to the forums

Hello! I also own an Extreme 1.2 16V! Picking it up in a couple of hours! It looks identical to yours, but mine is black.
This is what I'm going to do, might give you a few ideas:
Short term: change my front and rear diamonds to white, and also change my door bullets to white. I've bought a new headunit (the one that is coming with it is horrendous), and am planning on buying some component speakers for front in the next few weeks. Also buying an RS grille.
Long term: Replace rear speakers, amp all the speakers, lower car, paint (or change) alloys. I'd like to spray the alloys black, with white renault logo, but not sure how easy it'd be.

Like you, I am not planning on spending a huge amount, as I'll eventually buy a 182. All I really care about is the sound system and how the car looks! Don't fancy messing around with the engine too much.
