New mod suggestions

Basically I'm 18, so I don't have money for any big mods. Having a 1.2 Campus Sport I realise that doing engine mods will be completely useless and expensive. Mainly I'm looking for mods that would improve the look/feel of my car. All I need to take into consideration are parts costs as I will fit everything myself. All that I have done so far is fit new coilovers, and headlights. Also I have just began respraying my badges and wheels. Any sensible suggestions are welcome :).

You say you don't have much money, I hope the mods you have are declared to your insurer. I wouldn't do anymore to your 1.2 I would just get some driving experience get some years no claims then get something better.

Decent tyres.

Failing that, a proper HU (Alpine etc).

There's not much you're going to be able to do to a 1.2 on a shoestring budget anyway.

There is a thread for cheap mods, try having a search. I would search for you, but I find the new forum search a nightmare to use.

Head unit, speakers, and sub/amp if you want it. Keep the original stuff and put it back in when selling. Anything else is waste of money I reckon, but when I was 18 I spent a shut load modding a rubbish old diesel clio and ignoring older peoples advice lol

When your insurance ask you for modifications on your car, you don't declare that you have a new cd player, amp, sub etc there not interested. Would be like declaring that you now have a new cd in the cd player...

you should declair everything thats not factory fitted to the base model of a car, so that includes optional extras such as air conditioning, cup packs, uprated headunits etc.

most people dont. infact i dont know a single person that declairs even serious modifications
