Technically I should be alright as you can't get an M and it can't be anything other than 11, otherwise the dot comes off.

Not really as tax camera's, speed camera's, ANPR etc don't care about not being able to get a "M". All they care about is not being able to read the plate correctly.

Didn't edit quick enough. That's fair enough, let's see how long it takes then, cheers for the info. You a policeman?

I don't agree with anyone who does this kind of s**t to their plates. It's not right, it certainly ain't legal and you shouldn't be doing it.

Oh, my bad, but I see it all the time and people do not get pulled over? Are they just plain lucky, the bits are glued on as I had an inkling that might be the case?

Go on admit it, just because there isn't a plate that works with your name. ;) j/k

It's not that, a number plate is a legal requirement and it shouldn't be messed with. At the end of the day you've just got to accept that there isn't a plate available which states your name to the exact letter, why people strive to try and accomplish this is beyond me.

Can I ask, what does the plate read, in it's original, unmolested form? T11 BLK?

  FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU
my plate is P310 RRN, if i ordered a new plate would P 31 0RRN be legal, or P31 0RRN?

  blackgold megane 225 5dr
my plate is FR51 ZZZ i may have evened the spacing out FR51ZZZ to make it look neater of course.

  fat arctic ! sold yippee!
Not Sure On This One! Its Definatly Worth A Good Fine If You Get Stopped - Dont Mind Wrong Spacing But When People Change The Letter Font And Add Dots And Other Things It Annoys Me - Just Be Happy With What Youve Got And Dont Add Bits
Ps It Wont Pass An Mot Like That Either!
Still Nice Car!

Haha fair enough mate as Tom said T111 BLK. I do understand, I suppose when I see L.E.D.s on cars or crazy text on the number plates it pisses me off. My manager slates me for having one at all saying they're for self loving tw*ts, each to their own I suppose.

Thanks for the comments! I'll have a chat with a policeman we play footy with and see how harsh they are round here. If he says I should take it off then I will.

if traffic stop you its £30 non endorsable, you get two tickets, it then gets referred back to DVLA who are now starting to remove tricked up plates and issue Q plates out, remember you buy the right to display it not own it.

It will look far better in it's standard form aswell. Molested plates look stupid.. I'm always left thinking: 'I wonder what it's supposed to say...'.

Technically only the first one will be legal as that is the standard form for that registration, the others have illegaly spaced lettering/numbering, although youre not tampering with the letters to make them appear something they're not it's still illegal.

Having said that if you had a picky copper and you were parked next to tim id hazard a guess they would make a beeline for tims car before yours (if at all yours)

I'm lucky, my name is gary so my plate is GAZ **** but im risky so decided to make the font illegal, still correct height but it's gil sans or however its spelt, less obviously illegal than the more common motorbike style which have letters both too small in height and width.

Tims boss IMO is just jealous, he obviously doesnt have a plate suitable for his/her name, it's like the folk with small tadgers saying 'it's what you do with it that counts'

maybe so, but yous still rather be horse-like in appearance so even if you are crap between the sheets she still feels youre ther

Just my thoughts like
