New pre-cat lambda - warning light still on!

Anyone had this before?

Had the pre-cat lambda on my 182 replaced about 1 month back and have a Janspeed supersport exhaust and sports cat fitted.

After about 2 weeks the management light came back on and hasn't gone off since. Mechanic suggested either a faulty lambda and to replace it under warranty or possibly spark plugs.

Anyone else had this and what are your thoughts?

Do Clios ever work properly for more than a few weeks? ;)

Yep we reset the EM codes but couldn't delete them.
Post cat sensor is a good thought too.
Just wish the fecking thing would work properly sometimes!

If the car is running fine, which I'm guessing it is, then it's not the pre cat sensor, it'll more than likely be the post cat one.

They're interchangeable by the way, but the pre cat one is the important one.

Yep car is running completely fine. No change in MPG, idle, running, revs etc. The mechanic even said it'll probably be fine for ages, just with considering selling the car I don't fancy explaining why the warning light is always on :)

Try taking the post cat sensor out and give it a clean (not with anything silicone-based though!) then refit it.
It will probably have been 'polluted' whilst the pre cat one was faulty as the car will have been running rich.
