Im thinking of speding some money on www.cleanyourcar.co.uk
Could anybody recomend the best of each of the following for a white car.

-Shampoo
-Sealent
-Wax(around £40)
-Tyre shine

Jeffs( from polsied bliss)
DODO wax. white diamond
Black fire long lasting.

well i have only had good review TBH mate, i did a white alfa the otherdy and i used my white dodo look sweet alwas hard to tell on white paint tbh..

Got tto be worth a butchers for the amount of dolla a lad?

TBH on a flat white I wouldn't bother spending £40 on a wax, in fact not even sure I would bother with a wax at all.

You would be better off getting a decent sealant on.

I would be tempted to get:

Shampoo - Chemical Guys Extreme Body Wash & Wax.

Light polishes/ paint cleaners - Sonus Paint Cleaner or Autoglym Super Resin - contain fillers, to reduce minor swirls, which you will probably have a few of still even though you have PCd the car. They also create a surface for the sealant to bond to.

Sealant - JEFFS Accrylic, or else Chemical Guys Jetseal, or Autoglym Extreme Gloss Protection.

Tyres - Blackfire Long Lasting Gel.

If you are still wanting to get a wax too, I can personally recommend Collinites 476s for being good on matt-coloured cars and providing excellent protection and a very good gloss. Not tried any of the Dodo waxes but people seem very pleased with them, but on a white you aren't going to get any depth to the paint, so no point buying an expensive wax as you won't notice the difference.

A glaze isn't the same as EGP, no.

My point is that you can't make white look that amazing, only glossy. Collinites would be a great choice for your budget, but if you want to spend more for little effect, go for it!

What about wash with megsgold class then megs show car glaze then EGP then dod diamond white.Will that make it look very glossy also can somebody explain the differences between a sealent and a glaze?

Body ash and wax is a superb shampoo, definately one of my favourites.

For the sealant/cleaner, may I reccomend the Carlack Nano systematic care, to prep and seal the paint. (Jeffs is Carlack re-branded in the US). All you would need to do to that is top that with a nice wax. You can use the Long Life sealant in as many layers as you like before also to add extra depth.

For waxes, Victoria Collectors is a fantastic wax, durable and looks stunning. Dodo Light fantastic as you mentioned would work well or Collinites for full on durability.

Tyres, New look trim gel is very long lasting as is the Sonus Tyre and Bumper dressing. The sonus is probably my favourite, but is slightly more expensive as it only comes in 250ml bottles.

To answer your question a glaze generally offers no protection at all. It's job is just to add oils to the paint to add 'wetness' to the finish.

A sealant is just that it's seals the paint and protects it.

I would go down the route of:

Klasse All in One / Carlack 68 or AG SRP
Jeffs Acylic Jett Trigger Sealant
As others have said not sure you will see the benifits of expensive waxes on white - P21S if your not fussed on durability, or Megs #16 or Collinite.

Dressing wise I like Poorboys Bold and Bright though would proably plump for the Blackfire Long Lasting Gel.

Shampoo's in Bulk I like Megs Shampoo Plus or Hyperwash, the CG Cuys Wash'n'wax is a nice product to, but I prefer Sonax Gloss Shampoo or Duragloss Wash.

Shampoo - Citrus gloss from CG (Available from tim) - it's better than body wash n wax

Glaze - red Clearcoke moose.
Seal - Agree with Rich - jeff's Acrylic (Or even CG blitz is very good for on-off)
Wax - White cars are a bit hit or miss...Could try the new dodo juice, but i found the ONYX was very good on the old man's 280Pagoda.

Is poorboys bold and bright tyre stuff really shiney as i want it really shiney but also one that will last over 30 mins of driving.

As long as you are happy to reapply the wax often that will work. Clearkote Vannilla Moose Hand Glaze topped with P21s would look good.

The Blackfire is shinier and lasts longer than the Poorboys. The Bold and Bight does give a decnt look but is not quite as glossy or long lasting.

Trust me it leaves an awesome finish ! It is not a pure glaze as some are as it does have some light cleaners in it.

You can apply them no problem but the oilyness of the more traditional Glazes such as Megs #7 and #81 and the Clearkote glazes will kill the durability of most sealants that may go over them as they will not bond properly - some sealants such as Klasse, EGP and Jeffs wont bond to them at all.

Sealants need clean oil free surfaces to bond to and allow the polymers in them to attach to the paint and cure, they wont ever do this when the oils from the glaze are sat on the paints surface.

Some of the newer Glazes like the CG ones and Prima Amigo are designed to be used with Sealants. All depends what products your using.

The Clearkote and Megs Glazes won't take sealants on top, to oily and greasy to allow them to bond properly. Using a sealant over these is pretty much a waste of product.
