thats right it seems sky are going terrestrial ie freeview for a new service to try and recapture some of its lost market possibly also doing pay per view too but will need a new set top box

What part of "Free" view are they missing.. and ye I know there is already a topupTV thing but why call it freeview if your gonna charge for it ?

i think topup died a death
i think they just dont want to get left out as there are alot of people that just use freeview

it will still be freeview but with the option of paying for movies and premium content
if its a good set top box ie upscaling and pvr it may be worth it depending on the cost of the box


they are also doing another service called skyfor life iirc you pay £75 and get sky dish and box and get 200 stations but after 6 months they disable 2 of the mixes
