theyve changed the compound of them now i believe paul, meant to be a lot better.

Must be the case. The guy finished the fitting and took it round the block. Said the felt good. I took them for a go and nearly went through the windscreen. Took me completely by surprise! Well happy.

  Weeman sucks ****
They should settle a bit more but for some reason the apex don't go as low as the 182's do but looks smart all the same.

Luvvy jubbly.

Looking good, nice set of upgrades.
What are the Bluevision side lights like? Any good? Road legal?

Improves pedal feel, makes it a lot firmer. Something to do with they don't decrease in size under breaking or something along those lines. I'm sure someone will correct me but overall they improve feel and from what i've heard, well worth it.

Awesome mate. Similar list to what i have just bought.

Apex -40mm springs.
Brembo 280mm Hi Carbon disks
Goodridge hoses all round
Ferodo DS2500 pads for front
Castrol Dot 4 brake fluid

Just waiting to get delivery of my springs. My brakes have arrived.

Did you fit it all yourself? Have you topped up with Dot 4 brake fluid?

Tyson.

All in all the cost was a smidge over £500 for the 4xdiscs, hoses, pads, springs, and rear bearings. The 2 F1's were £120 from a friend of mine who did all the fitting at his garage and topped the fluid up with dot 4. Spent about £750 in all I think.

just a question....why upgrade to drilled disc's if they are prone to cracking under heavy breaking??

the std disc is more than up to the job, even for trackdays. grooved is the only way id go if replacing discs for anything other than standard, but they munch thru pads like nobodys buissiness!

looks sweet none the less!

I dont like the look of the grooves I know BBT changed from the drilled to grooved but I cant foresee any trackdays and I don't really drive the car too hard on the roads so it is more for cosmetics but the braking is so sharp now. I get a bigger smile when I put my foot down on the brakes than I do when accelerating now. lol.
