hi my names simon and ive recently bought a clio dci65 its a mk2 in black and has the funky different coloured seat middles in green but since getting it ive had some problems im hoping you can help me with some faults im having.
when idling it rocks back and forth and when in gear the gear lever moves back and forth when you let go of the accelerator.im guessing that the rear mount is on its way out.
is there anything i can look at to stop the rocking when idling?
also its chucking out black smoke as soon as you start driving it,but the engine doesnt run rough when driving.
im going totry some fueltreatment and maybe some injector cleaner to see if that helps too
when i picked up the car the tank was empty and also the oil is as black as the soot out the back too, so going to give it a good service and hope that helps too.
i did the test dash trick aswell and when i got it it was showing a t, ive cleared that but im unsure what its for, its had a new egr valve in november aswell by the last owner but dont know much about renaults as im a ford person more.
any help you can give me would be brilliant and thanks for your time.
merry christmas all aswell.
