cheers guys, the guy before me debadged it etc, it was an insurance job as some c*nts vanadalised it, keying it all over, slicing the back seats up and putting the wondows through, luckily the previous owner is a panel beater so it's all back, probably better condition than new with the ammount of laquer on it! was thinking about smaller wheels and dropping it a little bit, not sure wich way to go, next is one of those sexy 182 style exhausts!

not a chance! I bought it with the wheels on and de badged and that's all that will change bar an exhaust system when i find the right one, other than that i'm all for originality, cars that look like they crashed in halfords window don't do it for me

pretty much wipes the floor with in terms of comfort and performance, wich can be expected I guess as there now an older car, I just wanted something with more comfort ie A/C, disc changer, steering wheel controls etc and a bit newer as I thought the old 106 was starting to show it's age.I do love the 106 gti's but these things are great!

Are they 16s? Suprised at how big they look considering a Ph2 172 sits on 16s and looks pretty normal, guess I'm used to seeing Ph1s on 15s.

No there 17's, might ditch them for something smaller for better bottom end speed, not sure yet though, these are nearly new by the looks of them so i'm in 2 minds!
