Black backgrounds should only be used for "out there" websites iimo, ones with funky designs for instance. A "plain" corporate website does not suit it.

i agree Mr 172.com blokey.

black backgrounds also suit photo galleries.

You can make dark colours work, you just have to get the scheme right.

Corporate sites, should be lighter colours.. thats what think anyway, but then i guess it all depends on the company's coportate colour scheme and identity.

Very much agree.. I looked at your site for about 10 seconds and started to think about killing myself..

Change it..

with that design a white B/G would still work!

pretty good matey, and the main structure is done with layers which is good but i cant understand why tables have been used for the menu and content...

lists are the best bet for nice menus (along with css based mouseover, so no need for javascript menus)

layers again for the content too. tables should be for tabular data only.

also looks like some css is in the main html code and some is in its own stylesheet. try and get it all in the same place if poss mate!

im a web designer and im just being picky btw! feel free to tell me to fook off! :D

email this morning from our marketing manager:

"Thought I’d let you know we got a quite a few more visits to our new website from the cliosport.net site than from a banner we have paid for on the Cherry site (which is sold as a springboard for targeted prospects etc)!!.

How do people get into the MSN site from the Clio site? "

whoops, apparantly we werent suppose to make this site known as yet.
