It's becoming a bit of an archaic policy now to only allow work provided and fully managed devices to access your personal data such as email and diary.

This is an increasing pain point for companies an the moment. With the rise of smart phones and tablets BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) is one of the hottest topics around. We are currently developing services to address these difficulties and I have been involved in some lengthy discussions about the technologies and solutions. Steep learning curve!
