New work phone

I've been offered either a blackberry 9720 a Samsung galaxy s4 mini or a Nokia Lumia 925 as my on call phone for work.

Which would you pick and why?

Wouldn't go near the 9720. A lot of people have gone off Blackberry and so many of them have moved away because the handset was rubbish (cleaned that up a little!!)
Lumia 925 is Windows operating system so it depends whether you are familiar to it/like it. Down to personal preference really. Good for business.
Personally for me it would be the S4 Mini. Android operating system. User friendly. Also Samsungs are very popular at the moment.

Agreed, I wouldn't touch Blackberry, I've got one as my business phone and hate it.

Would never touch a mid range Android phone with a barge pole - so I suggest the Nokia.

Personally I'd see if you could put a bit more money towards it and get a top Android - Nexus/One/G2 - if having a good phone matters.
