172 Cup, mk1 fiesta
Hi there, just thought I'd say hello.
I've never really been a french fan, 100% Ford and bmw but my eyes have opened somewhat and I love the looks and plenty of reviews for the 172/182.
At uni a mate had a 1.2-1999 and it was a sack of poo. It didn't help my ideas of french cars being tat but a month of using a 205 gti and a ride in my mates 182 made me see the error of my ways. The stats show them to be pretty good on fuel which is important to me at the moment and they aren't far off the little fiesta turd I use. From what everone says and my small experience they are 100 times more fun and probably the best £ per smile going apart from the audi s3 at the moment, so it seems a viable choice to make-girlfriend approves too which is always handy.
I've got a mk1 fiesta that im building for fun(each to their own) so I don't think I would mod one, only to replace broken parts-we all say this to start with though, yozzasport videos sound pretty good!!!!.
Im aiming to take the plunge at the beginning of next year when I should be able to get one on finance, crap I know but I don't want to wait all year to have something I could enjoy sooner.
Anyway, enough of a rant. I look forward to getting loads of useful info off the site and hopefully contributing soon too.
