Newbie from Manchester

Hi all,

I've Just Recently bought a Clio off a trader in Manchester.



It's a 2005 1.2 16v model (Extreme - although no extreme badges )


It came with partial service history upto 54K and now on 77K and on personal plates (RIB 7694)
any nicknames welcomed .

Just querying replacing the Cambelt and Aux belt - any other worries need I replace?
as I would like this car to remain in one piece. Plus the car has what looks like someone has
'sat' on my rear quarter near side no creases just wondering a rough estimate to sort that out
more pics will follow of that.

I've seen a couple of 182 Clios around me in Stockport and also in Manchester.
Seen a Red 182 battering it up the A6 and Mancunian Way sounded neat!
I was in my pov spec 106 at the time :quiet:

Now a full member I'm awaiting my stuff to arrive so I can plaster 'em on.

Welcome, I'm reasonably local to you, so Hi.

Could've been Jon.G he has a Trophy (...a red 182) although he of course isn't the only T owner in Manchester!

The belts I would recommend getting done at Birchdown if you want the job doing well, specialists seem to be the way to go with the sports, although I can't say for certain with regards to non sports. No idea on bodywork I'm afraid there's a meet on at the Costco overflow carpark near the Trafford Centre, on the 20th of this month you should pop down and say hello to everyone. See link below:

Hi man.

Jon.G reg plate rings a bell as I have an odd memory for reg plates.
Did sound pretty loud as he has de-catted it.

Considering Birchdown just waiting for a reply from them as they state a price only for sport as you said.
I currently have a quote of £180 which is from mrclutch in manchester.

I would come but i'll be going chester saturday and staying over the night with the missus then work at 5 :dapprove:.
