MK3 Clio1.4/Golf TDI
Hi all,
Just bought the Mrs a mk3 Clio 1.4 16v. Got it considerably cheap, has a few problems that i am working through. But thought i would ask on here and see if i can get some help. I myself drive a MK4 Golf TDI running 210bhp 380ib-ft.
The main problem's with the Clio are;
No airbox (Already replaced)
Bad boy twin exit exhaust (New standard one already been fit)
Driver's external door handle doesnt work, looks like somebody has removed the whole mechanism for some reason.
The main problem is that when you put it into reverse it pops out as soon as you bring the clutch up. Every other gear is perfect and drives really smooth. Can anybody point me in the right direction of what i could do to stop it popping out of reverse. I was told it had a new gearbox fitted before i bought it.
Other than that it just want's de-chavving.
