Newbie to Cameras

I am after a decent digital camera. Nothing too expensive or complicated to use.

You need to try some out. I've found that most brands all offer very good cameras, depends what you want. Pana Lumix are great though. Try a bridge camera. A step up from a compact but not bulky like a DSLR and are still smallish. You'll get much better shots and they aren't that much more.
