hi guys and girls john here i have a 172 cup and have just bought the stealth system and itg panel filter for my car has anyone heard much about these or can offer any advise as i dont want a loud system just a nice sporty note and bit of a performance gain.
Looks like youve made a good start mate, ive not had any experience of the stealth system but im sure you will be happy with it. Try clicking the search button top right as i think the stealth system has been mentioned on here before. The ITG panel filters are excellent for the money.
Hi. I have the K-tec stealth system on mine. Its not too loud but does get quite boomy at certain revs. Seems to get louder as it warms up. I would recommend getting it fitted at a decent garage as I had problems with mine banging about. Hope this helps.
cheers mate i used to have a integra DC5 but then had to buy a house hence going to the clio but to be honest the clio is so mush more comfy and fun factor is 100% i love it also i prefer not having the world stare at me driving down the road lol
no mate just ordered today so when i get them i want to fit both together i really want to stay with the std look and clean lines of the car so its not racer type in ur face lol
yup sounds like a plan to me mate. Although if i were you id fit the panel filter before fitting the exhaust just to see if the car sounds/performs much different...otherwise if u fit both at the same time you might struggle to determine what make which noise if you get what i mean lol.
I fitted my induction kit whilst the standard exhaust was shot (4k rattle, known problem) and could barely hear it....then had an aftermarket custom system fitted and can kinda make out the induction noise over the exhaust....at times lol.
I have the stealth system on mine and it sounds lovely not to loud but knocks like a biatch. its to heavy for the mounting bracket. even a metal clip doesnt stop it moving. sounds good though just dont go over any bumps.
Got the K&N Typhoon Induction Kit on and this drowns out the exhaust over 4000 revs. Sounds Wicked
