Hi all, jus put a deposit on my clio hopefully picking it up tomorro its a 1.2 16v Dynamique in metallic black. Glad to see a forum of like minded admirers of the clio!!

This is the pic from the autotrader mag, gonna try not to modify this as the last two cars i modified caused me way too much grief so gonn akeep this un as standard as possible!!!

Thats not me with the long hair by the way!! Deserved it really being a hyundai an all i bought it as a cheap run around for while i was at uni but got bit with the modifying bug n had a full bodykit to be fitted on it a month after this happened!!

N this is the one before that, the wheels i put on were the wrong offset n caused a hell of a lot of damage to the gearbox so it had to be replaced and other work done resulting in a hefty repair cost so i had to sell it

So like i said this one is staying standard!! apart from a sound system n tints of course!!

Glad you learned your lesson about the mods! Standard all the way for me!


Still old habits die hard and I bet a set of lexus lights may creep onto your Clio after a while..!


With that paint you might want to start reading the threads about polishing etc. Hope that aint your first black car as you may be in for a surprise! Many long Sundays ahead!

You knows it! I can spend about 6 hours cleaning my car on a sunday! That is the inside too though. If im just washing and polishing the outside then thats a 4 hour job. Can do it in 2 but it doesnt look as good.

The Clio Mk2 in Dynamique flavour is a nice car. Id pass on the tints and get some discreet lowering springs - the overall look of the car is fine apart from that.
