  1.6 RSI
Hi Everyone

I just thought I would introduce myself. I drive a Clio 1.6 RSI and love it to bits and am also a bike nut and have a Honda VTR 1000, hence the user name Vtrrobbie. Never drive a Saxo in fact the only Citroen I have driven was a 2CV6 in the 70s. I live in Lincolnshire in the Spalding area.

I have really enjoyed the RSi, makes a lovely change from the people carriers I have had to endure for the last 15 years.

So all was well with life till last Saturday when a mate who is an experienced mechanic offered to change the cambelt, tensioners and waterpump. He did it but unfortunately made a boo boo and somehow got the timing wrong and it bent a valve or two.

So what was a simple cheap job is now a big expensive one. And of course things are not going well. I am struggling to get the rocker cover off and I cant figure out a way to undo the sensor on top of the exhaust heat shield.

Oh and just found out today that I am being made redundant in two days.

So things can only get better, well I hope so LOL

I look forward to hearing from other members and any advice about getting the rocker cover off or the sensor undo would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Rob
