Hi folks, thought Id introduce myself, Im Steve from North Wales.

I used to drive an MG ZR http://zr172.cjb.nethttp://zr172.cjb.net lovely looking car, brilliant to drive, but nothing but problems which the dealer could not resolve, so I got rid of it and got a Clio 172 instead - liked the equipment level, love the power - feels a lot faster than my ZR which had 172 BHP also. Build quality feels a lot better, road handling better too. Part exed the ZR 51 reg for £7K and got a flame red clio with only 3.5k on the clock for £10.5K.

I only had the car a week when I was over taking a line of traffic, I had passed the back end of a Nissan Primera when they also decided to overtake and started pulling out. I hooted and jammed on, but they hit me and pushed me into the kerb - said "I didnt see you" when I angrily told them the car was almost new! Ive been driving around for a week with scuffed front wing, scuffed side of bumper, scuffed side of headlamp and 3 damaged alloys!!!

Im hoping the car will go in for repair soon ( I dont know whats taking so long ) and definitely hoping I wont be able to tell the difference after the respraying.

I was a very active member of the X-Power MG website, and hope to learn from, be able to give advice and have a laugh with others on here!

Catch ya later!

Thanks for the welcome guys, keep em coming!! Yeah im gonna have to phone up to find out when my car is gonna get sorted, they are really dragging their feet, its coming up for 2 weeks now, and it really naffs me off, because I had a brand new looking car that I was proud of and now its just got scuffs on it and I keep worrying the wheels are out of balance and the bearings will get damaged, even though the repairing garage said it would be ok when they did the estimate!
