Hi people i am new on here. I have an x plate clio 1.4 8v sport. Ive only had it about 3 weeks and it has developed a whine from what sounds like the cambelt. It had a cambelt change last month and was wondering if it could be that the garage over tightened the belt and damaged the bearings on the water pump?

Did they change the aux belt at the same time ?
