  K20 EG Hatch

is there gonna be a new clio i mean i have the current, mk2 ph2 but is there gonna be a new one soon?when how soon. pics please i would hate to think i have only just bought the current model and it will be out dated soon!

Late 2005 is the new Clio.

Dont put of buying the car you want just because there a new one due in 18 months. After all a revamp of the new car will already be on the cards for 2yrs after its released.

  Renault Laguna Coupe

Itll be out in 2005, but dont get too excited. The first models will be 1.2, 1.4 and diesel engines, which account for the greatest volume. Renaultsport version isnt due until 2006, and theres no hard info on engine etc yet.

90% sure the new Renault sport is a 2.0 turbo probably about 200hp.

The released pictures of it have 2.0 t badges on them from what can be seen athough the pics armt very good.

The 182 is going to be for sale till late 2005.

Its unlikly the new car will be given more power than the V6 to keep it the pride of the range. Although romour is theres a new V6 type car (ie very strong looks) with a V8 or V10 in it. Maybe its the new V6 replacment to go with the new Clio shape

The car maybe be based on the platform but the Micra platform was designed by Renault for the Clio originally but Nissan got it as they needed something for there new Micra.

Anyway Im not sure the new Clio achually is the same metal chassic it may just be the wiring and engine/ mechanical bits shared.

I have to say it doent look very good although a forum user has seen the new Clio in the flesh and said it looks much better so maybe it wont be that bad.

However if it does look that bad it will help hold the values of the older CLios more at least.
