So we thought we'd take the more scenic route home from the Nurburgring which takes in the unofficial VAG suspension testing centre.

I'm pretty sure the sign said road closed 10k ahead, but Jon knows the route well so we'll just keep on going.

Guess what the road was closed, and we'd come so far as to turn back.
From what little German understood we followed a workman's diversion.

This how we crossed the German/Belgian border...

Still we made it and not a single tree or marker post was hit.

Priceless

No idea how Chris got through the day before in his coilovered Cup!
