how do ppl re-size pics, whenever i try to re-size mine the lines go all horrible and the picture quality ends up crap

in this pic its ok, its when I make them a bit smaller they then go to pot

I use Photoshop to resize mine mate.

Yeah, use something proper like Photoshop. Crummy cheap tools (aka anything that came free with windows ) make a hash of it and leave thos rough edges....
