No Alarm Fob Help!

I recently bought my clio and i was told it had an alarm, but i only have the car key no alarm key. But i do have the alarm under the bonnet and the sensors so is there anythin i can do to turn the alarm on or off?

Couldnt you just buy a new remote key off like ebay and re-programme it to your car?

Had a quick look and cant seem to find any threads on re-programming the key. Im not sure wether you could get it cut at timpson or only Renault dealers, who will charge you about 160 quid!
