Comments welcome!

Superb shots there mate, the two Yellow Suzuki shots and the Marlboro Ducati really do it for me, all excellent though. Certainly hard to find any particular criticism of them.

awesome shots mate, how does shooting bike compare to shooting cars, are they harder

Most people say harder, but I - strangely - find it much easier. Much smaller area to keep sharp so you can push the shutter speeds down further without losing much in the way of focus.

lens was sigma 100-300mm f4 - average was probably 1/125th @ F8

I did manage to get some @ 1/50th and tried my new teleconverter which didn't like focusing too much at 420mm :(

No Limits Track day on at Oulton Park tomorrow, I'm going but my D80 is still with Nikon, it's been posted back to me today but if it comes tomorrow it will be to late as in setting off at about 09:00, so I'll have to use my TZ5 point & shoot.

  Oil Burner
Lovely sharp pans

Only criticism is the colour/white balance and the framing, I suspect this is due to your metering mode, i find mine gets all confused if i shoot slow shutter stuff particularly with bright/dark coloured bikes.

Same lens i have, i would be very interested to see your results with the teleconverter. I had one once and it was awful, gave it back. It also came with dirty contacts and as such wouldn't communicate properly with the lens. Worked fine once i cleaned it. (check on your photos with it at 420mm that it reads 420mm not 300mm)

I prefer shooting bikes, dont find them easier, they scare me more as they come over barriers alot easier and tend to have quieter accidents. But they make for much more creative shots i find.

I used it for all the shots by the hairpin. Seems pretty good - this is at 420mm
