No to a new car so.....

  Suzuki Ignis Sport
After all this faffing about looking for a new car, my gf had a chat with me and so did my brother, they think its best, to just maintain the 1.2 and keep it for a bit longer, until i can afford a decent and mint CTR.

I have agreed, and have now stopped looking for a new car to replace the 1.2

However, apart from maintaining the 1.2, such as Servicing (tomorrow) and cambelt change (next week)

I will do the following mods.

172 rear bumper
Lower 60mm
Exhaust system

Well whats a few hundred pounds going to do towards my saving for a CTR... not a lot, so might aswell.

Def a 172 rear bumper tho.

with that mentality you will never save enough money for the Honda. The mods will just be wasted if you're "saving" for a new car.

Not really. I can use money that i have at the moment to get a rear bumper, and save up after doing this right?....

Or stop messing about with the 1.2 put it back to standard how Renault intended it and save up for something proper. No point modding a car you intend to sell.

Surely if your saving you shouldnt bother with any mods...especially not a new exhaust system (think of the pennys saved on petrol by not having one!)

172 Bumper is a fair call...but...if you get one then surely bumper colour coding is needed?

Yea, i guess no exhaust then, never thought about that.

But a 172 bumper, would mean that i should color code, but i think i will go the f0xy approach, and color code the rear bumper of course, and side strips, but leave the front. :)

Haz, personally I think you should save up & buy the ctr if it's what you really want. I would forget about modding the 1.2 & leave it as it is. I'd stop spunking money out on whatever mods seem a good idea at he time.

Well i have always liked the way f0xy's rear bumper looked, so i thought it was time to get one for myself.

After that, no touchy with the moddys! I promise
