Noisy!

Hello All,

Is there anybody in and around the Chesterfield area that can help me diagnose if there is anything wrong with my 172 Cup? It sounds noisy but not as noisy as the dephaser videos on youtube?

Dephaser pulley 100%.

Belts due?

I think they're going to have to be! I think they are actually, done around 2008. Any recommendations on where to get it done around Dronfield?

I've looked at BTM but its 1 1/2 hours from here. Anybody in the Nottingham Area or that sort of distance?

I got mine done at diamond motors in long eaton a couple weeks ago, good guy and highly recommend by many local to Nottingham. You also get a good discount if you become a full member.

Just called Mick at Diamond, Darryl. Was it the whole lot you had done? I'm just worried about what Fred says with things such as the timing etc

Mick is a great guy, if you take it to him you won't have any problems. He is more than capable of timing up an F4R engine correctly.

I had the whole lot done, because there was no history of it ever being done on my car when i brought it.

Mick was recommended to me by other members on here when i asked a few weeks ago.
