Non-cabled areas. Any roll-out timescales?

Are there any links or info relating to areas that haven't got cable coverage, having some ETA on when they will be done?

I'm assuming that not everywhere can or will have cable access - but it would be good to find out.

I thought they run up so much debt doing the now cabled areas they wont be doing anymore (apart from new houses).

As above, NTL / Virgin haven't rolled out any new areas in a long long time as far as I'm aware.

Do they even cable up new houses stil?

i was involved in doing the NTL's\virginmedia's London network upgrade. i was a network designer.
They didn't put any new stuff in the ground, just acquired old existing network and updated it to get it working.

I have lived in new estates in the last 5 years and none had cable installed. Virgin ill do it but 30 people have to sign up to there services and theres a charge per house, sod that!
