Non Metalic? Good For Detailing?

I used to have a metalic red clio, and when i used to wax that etc used to look beautiful, but this clio just gloss and wax doesnt seem to do anything for it, is there other items i could use on the car that could get it looking atleast half decent? thanks

The main bulk of looks are created in the polishing stage, not the waxing. You given it a good polish yet ?

nope, tbh im not one to know alot about detailing, i normaly just wash it lol but i miss the way my old one looked, my dad used g3 on it once looked pretty good, i know g3's a cuttin compound but is it a polish too?
