My friend drove his phs1 Clio 172 in the North Weald sprint today, midweek i asked if he'd fancy taking mine for a run out too. My camera was took rubbish to take 'action' shots but they had an official photograher there so hopefully there might be some pics coming my way soon.

Sorry for my muppetness, but whats the black thing on the number plate on the rb for, ive seen them on a few race cars, just wondered what it was. Thanks.

Its a timing strut, at the start and finish line there's a beam in which the black strut 'cuts' through. On the day everyone has 2 practice runs and 4 official runs that are timed, every car has 1 fitted
