Well this started about a month ago, i own a 1.2 16v 53 plate clio. One day the car just wouldn't start, it was trying to start and i just asumed a flat battery and jumped it, fine worked for couple of days running to and from work.
Then after a couple of days it did it again, gave it abit of throttle and it was on its was, 8hours later leaving work it did it again, took a little more throttle then previously, but eventually got it going (by this time i had my jump leads in the boot scared i may be stranded!)
So for the last month, every couple of days it does this, key in, turn, d-d-d-d-d-d.......d-d-d-d-d-d and nothing, then it goes! havent had to use the jumps yet, the only thing i have wired up to the battery is my sub, which did a check with a multi meter to check that it wasnt wired up incorrectly and draining my battery everynight.
So im alittle stuck, knowing not alot about it and having many different sujestions, i.e battery (ovbious one) starter motor or choke/fuel problems.
Any sugestions would be much apprieciated thanks
