Notes from test drive on my service...

Okay picked my car up earlier, this is the first time the car's been to a garage since I bought it, and these were the points raised:

• Vehicle bump steers badly
• Very slight play in steering rack
• Oil leak from sump possibly
• Slight wheel bearing noise when driving, but unable to hear when jacked up

Just wondering if any of these are common faults, and what to do about them? What is bump steering? I had a little Google but I still don't really get it! Steering rack, I wonder where about this originates from? I removed my steering wheel and replaced it after it had been re-trimmed, could it be something I've done? Oil leak... he said it wasn't a lot, will this be okay with regular checking and topping up? Got a lot of long drives coming up over the next couple of months so don't wanna be driving around with anything that could cause me big problems! :S if nothing mentioned really deteriorates much, are they MOT failures? As it's a while until my MOT, wondering if I should just get it all sorted then or not.

I'm going to guess bump steering means when you go over a bump / pothole it steers it self in a certain direction.

Thanks, anyone know a price and/or part numbers for the tie rod parts mentioned above?
