NU have stolen my no claims!

You may recall I was shunted from behind by a driver on the dual carriageway and pushed into the car infront a month ago, well my car is now fixed and I have just got a renewal quote from Norwich Union which states I have NO no claims bonus, eventhough the guy behind admitted full liability for accident!

What steps should I take to get my 2 years back?

they may look at it like this: " you should have been stopped far enough away from the car infront so that if you were shunted up the arse in standing traffic, you wouldnt be close enough to damage the car infront."

if they can shaft you in any way, shape, or form, they will!

I was about 2 metres away but the car behind hit me at about 40mph! Just want to make sure I go about it right and dont balls it up!

Has any cost claim been made by you against your insurer? If not ring them, say no claim was made and they should change it.

I had this, they took 2 years off as I had an open claim with them. No idea why, a woman hit me whilst I was stationary@70mph, she got prosecuted, her ins paid for everything. I rang my guys up and said this, they said that all they needed was for me to say to close the case at their end and I get my ncb back :)

no, if the car behind hit you and pushed you into the car infront, then it is the car that hit yous liabiliuty, and their insurance will be debited for all repairs.

There may still be an open claim with insurance. For example you rang insurance and they paid for all youre damage, but may not have hjad full payment from the liables company.

RING THEM AND ASK
