Number Plate Display

Is it legal to display my number plate in the front windscreen, As i am in the process of respraying my bumper and dont want to stick it on to remove it?

Although you might get away with it on a temp basis.

i dont think its illegal.. i dont think theres a law for it, you must place it so that its clearly visible and it must be as horizontal as you can get it.. as long as your wipers are not obstructing the numbers and letters.

i got pulled once and he just told me that my wiper was obstructing the plate so i moved it up abit

I would imagine it is illegal to not have it in the correct place??

What with all this shiz about number plates being the correct size and spacing etc?

I think it has to be fixed in place to stop you removing it when near speed cameras etc
