Number Plate Spec / dimensions

there is plenty of info on the web about how to design a number plate, size of plate and letter font etc...

but whats missing is corner radius.

is there a standard corner radius? or are they all different?

As long as you have the required minimum gap between the letter and the edge of the plate, I don't think corner radius matters much - you could just have a completely square plate with sharp corners if you wanted to, I imagine, lol. (Although there is risk of being caught under Construction and Use regs re: sharp things sticking out IIRC...)

The edges don't matter really, I'd just have a standard edge on mine though as you would hardly notice a difference lol
it does matter if your trying to design something to fit number plates and you don't know the exact corner radius. you risk your designing not fitting
