Number plates

I'm picking up my new car Wednesday and for some reason I think sticking some fresh plates on makes a car look a tad better, its only a normal registration not a private plate or anything but do use lot think its better to have the little 'GB Symbol' on the left hand side, on some cars i think it looks alright, otheres I don't, just looking for opinions..

I think it's better when plates are plain. I always get the same ones from dmb.uk.com

I've had them on four cars now. They're a simple, quality, carbon raised plate. Very unique, I've never seen anyone else with them and they really pop.

No doubt I'll get some for my 200.

Doing this would make your number plate illegal.

New number plates were the first thing I changed when I got the car. Makes it look a lot fresher IMO.

I wouldn't get the GB logo, makes it look a little cluttered. Plain and simple wins my vote.

As Dan says, plain and simple FTW. Mine are plain, the rear is slightly smaller than standard and I have a 3/4 plate on the front.

That previous plate is foul! and makes a huge change after the swap. Love your car Fp dan, your parents had awesome taste to pick one up with a trophy spoiler lol

Fancy plates is nice and easy. Usually about £20 posted for 2 plain plates.

Is your's a true 3/4 or just the width? And a smaller width on the back or length as well?

My mate at work has a smaller plate but its literally the size of my forearm, never had any trouble either!

It even had a small "cliosport.net" printed in orange at the bottom lol. They just had to go.

Cheers mate. I was going to put a deposit down on it but my parents intercepted and got there first, then the seller stopped contacting me so I assumed he'd sold it

I can't remember the exact figures, but I can find out if you like. But it's something like
Front: 490x80mm
Rear: 500x90mm
Something around those figures anyway. I know the front is definitely smaller than the usual 3/4 that people on here go for.

Yes they are illegal and yes I have one on my car.
I don't drive like a dick or hang around car parks doing burn outs.
I got stopped once by the police on my way to work, it was 5.30 am but they didnt mention the plate.
