I have one had a supersport stealth system from ktech. The noise was unbearable sitting at 70-80 on the motor way got a silenced center section put in and its not too loud now still abit boomy though.

only reason im asking is my cat has a slight crack, so instead of paying alot of money for a 2hnd cat looking for maybe a silenced one if there isnt much difference in sound..

Well i couldn't tell the difference with a decat on, so i reckon it will sound no different.

It won't pass the mot though?

nope it wont pass. but my slightly cracked cat i got now will pass with a slight crack cause it just did lol..

yeah lol.. i don't wanna waste alot of cash on a 2hd cat if a silenced decat is cheaper and does the job

I've got one with my center silenced ktec stealth and it isn't any louder. Remember though you'll need a cat to pass an MOT unless you know a friendly tester.
