  Burgandy 174 sport t
seen one at the dealers the other day, must be getting rid of there euro parts cupboard now

  Beetle
Was a thread on them a few weeks back, think the front has a different bumper and grill too iirc

  Megane Mk4
Wouldn't it have been easier concentrating on getting the new clio shape right instead of trying to "tweak" the old? One of their designers must been bored and decided to play with CAD while doing chemicals. ;)
Whats with the Renault badge/Clio badge the wrong way round too?

Wrong.. All wrong :nono:

Looks like the geez that stuck that Campus badge on, did so after a couple of pints of wife beater at lunchtime.

i kinda like it, its keeping the old clio shape alive, means plenty of spare parts and easy smoothed boot if you want it

Surely if they are still producing the 'old' shapes Clio that means a hands up from Renault that they might not have made such a bright move with the new one???

Either way that looks weird to me, the back of the MK3 Clio was actually pretty sweet as it was. The only good thing about it would be if you bought one like that, then put a standard 172/182 bumper on the back and you've got a pretty smooth rear end!!!

No ! The Campus is continuing in production from the factory in Slovenia. Clio 3 is built in France and Spain. The Campus is cheaper to build, and therefore sell, than the Clio 3 and has a place in the market under Clio 3.

It's the same as Peugeot are doing with the 207 as the 206 is continuing to be built in a separate factory.

Just seems like a bit of a daft excercise. Either release a new version of a car of keep the old one, thats my opinion though. Or call the new car by a different name!!

I see where they are coming from with the whole price bracket thing of the new and old Clio but why not continue to produce a Clio and then make the new 'Clio' a different car! I mean lets face it, the new one is bigger and more expensive.

cast your mind back and they did the same with the Renault 5, continued building it as a Campus special edition up until about 1996 iirc, whilst the Mk1 Clio was launched in 1990/1
