Odd Question

On the mk1 ph3, just below the back seats (in front of them, not boot)- is it safe to drill there?

the fuel tank does come right up against where your wanting to drill so wont be too good an idea to put it there

Was a perfect space as well, it just looked right there - any ideas on how to sick a couple of hooks on without drilling? I dont think glue would hold it...

Another thought maybe building a tray underneath the whole overhang of the rear seats for it to sit in, just bolt it into the rear sides underneath the windows. Whatever I do Ill take pics and keep you updated.

Good point though, a ball wouldnt really help as Ive concealed it - do they really climb in and have a hard look through the car??

I havent been pulled yet, to be honest if I had a ball in there too I think I could blag it.

my mate blagged it but only beacuse he did have a ball in there - dont keep a brand new ball in there either - make it look used!!! and the bat also! go knock a few chavs out, throw tha ball at them a few times and it will look used enough!!

Ive given up on finding a spot for the baseball bat, too much trouble when there are much smaller things that are just as effective.

Ive been pulled twice in the past but have never had my car searched?

Maybe I just dont look the type.

Id go for the tray idea, clip it to the underneath of the seats.

Yeah the tray idea is good if anyone could be bothered with it. But if you needed it in a hurry its a b*****d to get of a small car. Crowbars/truncheons/knives/other tools are much easier to hide and get to quickly.
