Is it possible for these to be taken apart and reset as mine has been sticking or am i been taken for a ride

the cable was fine the butterfly was sticking just before idle

Build up of crap around the butterfly from the breather pipe?

Use some carb cleaner to clean all the shoite from around the butterfly and on both sides then work in a little wd40. That may do the trick.

only had it for a month but the over reving was getting worse a littlle blip of the pedal would reset it back down did all the cleaning of it with forte intake cleaner the garage that deals with the warranty work for them said its either the spring or the tb but needed it to take it off an have a look he has told me he has stripped it down and it was pulling to the 1 side causing it to stick he has reset it all putting it bk together and it ok i thought reno just replaced as you cant buy the bits??????

trust me change the cable. the ph1 throttle body is nice & basic & very little goes wrong with it. however the cable is so crap and routed so badly that the slightest kink or tight spot will give the symptoms you have. if you take the cable off and move it you probably will think its fine but unless you get it at the right attitude you won't find the problem.
fit a new one and it should go away
