Rav4
At work our FS department saves all the correspondence of an email down to client folders.
All users use office XP bar one, who uses office 2003.
The 2003 saves the client correspondence which is by email as a .msg format by simply dragging and dropping the message from outlook into a client folder.
When an office XP user tries to open that .msg file they get the following error message.
"The messaging internace has returned an unkown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook."
Now, if I open an .msg with 2003 and save it as a "unicode .msg" format, then the XP office users can open it.
Is there a quick solution to this apart from upgrading everyone to 2003 (expensive) or downgrading that individual user?
Please advice.
