H22A7 Accord Type R
MY OH MY!!! I aint posted something like this for ages, but i have had SUCH a good night with the motor!! I went for a wee drive about - being Wednesday (the only day it comes out during the week). Had some petrol left in t from FCS so though i would use it. It seemed to last forever........ crusing about with some Gatecrasher on low....nice evening etc.
Ever been for one of those drives were you get close to home, then turn off and go some place else for the hell of it? I did it tonight. Went to BP and stuck a tenner of Ultimate in it and then decided to take a skoot up the Yorkshire moors (Scamingdon Dam - i know that road so well and absolutely love it!). Nice sunset, hills lookin nice, lights on.........just cruising up........hit the corners / cambers / humps etc, ohhhhhhhhh the car just feels so right! Everything comes together so well, the suspension kit working to the best of its ability, the seats holding me in nicely, the Eagles gripping like there is no tomorrow and the cornering abilities of the car are just amazing!! It was just one of those nights where everything was brilliant! the weather, the scenery, the road to myself, the sticky rubber, the warm brembo disks working mintly with the green stuff, the k-tec popping and sounding awesome..........
Yes i think i have just messed myself!! i parked the car up outside the house and looked at it, thanking it for the huge smile it has just given me!!! Excuse the random post, but it has been so so long since i have felt the urge to write such a thing!!! Awesome!
Everyone should have a well sorted 1.2 Clio in their life, its cheap, fun, and hass made me smile so so much tonight...........what more can i ask for!! (either that or driving my van most of the time makes the clio feel 100 times better!)
..........anytime you think you are bored with your car.............drive something else for a while then go back to it! I do.........and my clio...........for sale..........???? HMMMMM not so sure anymore!!
