OIL for my 1.2

Hi,
thinking of a full change tomorrow, what does everyone reccomend for the oil , think 15W40 is recommended by haynes, but seen many people saying 10W40 gives better results ....any help?

Thats what I'd go for and thats a 5W40

Well I'm guessing yours is the same but most 1.2s tend to do lots of short journeys (i.e. lots of cold starts, engine never getting quite warm) so a 5w40 being that bit finer can help the engine with these sort of starts and usage.

5w40 Fully synthetic is what Fred reccomended to me, So i got that. Cars running good.
