Oil in bad place

Car  500bhp Scoob

After a long trip yesterday ive noticed some oil in the spark plug surroundings, this is on the 1.4 energy lump.

Would this be a rocker cover gasket going, or something warped?

Thanks

well the last owner neglected the engine, it had a rebuild, but also had a bad turn of overheating (no coolant in the system!!)

the oil level is on the max line on the dipstick. Is it a hard job to do myself, got the trusty haynes manual at the ready, but think im right in saying i have to replace the 6 bolts i take out to remove the cover?

you dont need to replace the bolts...its an unstressed part.

Also check with the edge of a steel rule and use a feeler gauge to check if its warped.
