oil leak under car

Hi I was looking under my 182 earlier and noticed an oil leak where the under tray is (around the sump/ gearbox area).
I wondered if anyone had an idea where this is coming from (I've attached some photos).

Looks like sump gasket or maybe the drain bolt washer needs replacing

Are you going through a lot of oil

Thanks for your help. It doesnt seem to be losing oil quickly but it's definitely losing a bit over the weeks

losing over weeks explains the mess

only real way of telling is clean everything. lots of blue roll or similar and brake cleaner should do it. then check after a short run / idling

Cool thanks, I was thinking the same thing earlier. It does seem to be a bit around the gearbox area too though, and somewhat worryingly I spotted it because when I wass fitting my splitter I saw blue roll stuffed between the sump and the splash panel. So the previous owner obviously knew there was an issue and tried to cover it up :/

Gearbox - Check your passenger driveshaft is sealing properly as the inner boot holds your gearbox oil in, if not, check the linkage pin where it goes into the small plastic bush with circlip
