oil pump....

has anybody had the oil pump chain go bol##cksed on them on the 172 engine?? reason for this is because when the revs drop from having it at 3000rpm and back up again ive got a noise that is identicle to a chain being slack

nah oil pressure light ok. i rekon what i need is a reno gezza to listen to it and give me ther opinion aint going dealers tho.can anybody reccomend such a person???
