Oil seeping from plug area

Hi just noticed this ,what is the cause as last week has dephaser solenoid seal replaced,but obviously wasnt the cause.
Any help thanks Al

I'd clean it up then check again in a week to see if it has come back.

Its not from overfilling spillage etc ,has not been topped up since seal was changed.

This...remove one bolt at a time, coat flange side with a bit of loctite and put it back where it came from......do this for all the bolts

Mine had to be resealed, the whole rocker courtesy of Fred as I got sick of the mess. Didn't cost much.

Thankso so new rocker cover gasket cured it?

Clean it up first as others have said. Then check again.
These cars don't have a rocker gasket, they have the cam cover sealed with a resin.

That liquid wax i sent you,leave it on the paint overnight Lee.Have a look when you wake up in the morning to a lovely bare metal respray in bare metal

Yes, probably done this five years ago now and never a problem since (needs doing properly and not with the roller that Renault recommends).

I had this. It was my vvt seal. Check that it's seated?

Mine has done this from new
